Break is Over

It is now 5:15 in the morning, I'm done with my breakfast. I had coffee and bread with butter and liver spread. Yummy.. I'm full now.

To keep me awake, I watched the video of my nieces dancing. I'm really proud of my nieces; they are so talented and cute (like their auntie.. ehem..)

We have a Visitor

My mother-in-law is staying with us since Friday. I'm not used to living with her for a long time. Because of some personal reasons, she has to stay with us. It's okay with me. I did not have problems with my mother in law before. But it is really different if you live in the same house. We have to adjust everything from food, schedule of sleep, and more. Even our plan to go out was postponed. And I think my husband will not join us on Halloween Party because he has to stay in the house to company her mom. I'm not complaining that she's here, I just realized I'm lucky to have our own house and not living with my in-laws. I guess his mom will stay with us for a week or two.

My Nieces' Video

These are my nieces: Frances, Alyssa and Arielle.

We made this video last Sunday. It was not a plan but we had nothing to do so they decided to sing and dance in front of my web cam. We only used my built web cam in my laptop. Then the next day, I decided to edit their videos and make it like a music video. I love the final result. I uploaded it online and send it to my other cousins. They all love the video. And we all agree that we are a talented family. LOL

How often do you back up your files?

Early Christmas Shopping

Last Wednesday, I went to Divisoria in Tondo, Manila to have my early Christmas shopping. I bought toys, lunch boxes, clothes and more for my godchildren.

I even bought curtains for our bedroom. A curtain costs P100 (around $2.05). I bought two.

My husband convinced me to buy something for myself, so I bought 2 blouses which I will wear on Christmas day.

And by the end of November or first week of December, we will go back to Divisoria to buy gifts for our relatives.

Mr. G changed his mind

I think Google changed his mind because last October 10, 2008 Mr. G gave my Design By Pieces a Page Rank of 2.

But today, I was shocked to see that my Design By Pieces blog is back to N/A.

According to http://www.prchecker.info/, the N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised as a supplemental (Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google.

So, I'm not sure if this is just a glitch or is my blog banned by Google?

Video Promotion

I was watching some videos on YouTube when I ran across these two videos that are humorous in nature: Call to Arms and Multi-Talented.

In Call to Arms video, the video uploader is talking about how Phase2 conquer the world and replacing all the IT professionals. But he thinks that Phase2 cannot do that. He seems pretty serious but I think he is drunk. Thou he sais he was really frustrated on the issue of Phase2.

Meanwhile, in Multi-Talented video, a guy showing all of his talents that he said Phase2 does not have. I think he does not like Phase2 because Phase2 took his old job. I thinks he is an IT professional too like the man on the first video.

I was really curoius why they are mad at Phase2. So, I did some research then I found out about Software as a service (SaaS). I learned that Phase2.com offers SaaS that can help anyone to start their own business. SaaS is a model software deployment that you can access thourgh the use of Internet. So there is no need to install anything on your PC or servers. Now, I get it. This is the reason why those IT professional in the videos are scared of Phase2.

This blogger is still sick

I'm still sick, but don't worry I don't have tumor like what in the comics above. But I hope it is not true that too much blogging can cause tumor. Is too much exposure in front of computer can cause tumor?

Anyway, I can relate to the blogger. I'm really not feeling well due to cough and colds. Even I'm sick I try to find time for my blogs. But for the meantime I have to rest for a couple of hours. See you later.
