The Red Mobile Revolution

Recently, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) proposed to have tax on text. If that happens the it will make the cost of text higher too. And living in the 'text capital of the world', many will suffer if they add tax on text messaging.

But if you ask me, we don't need to worry. Since there are other ways to connect with your friends or family. You may always call them. Most of the country's telecommunications company offer a flexible rate for calls. However, as I can see it, Red Mobile offers the cheapest/lowest call rates.

A few months ago, I received a Red Mobile sim. However, I noticed on the sim's pack, it says it can only be used for 3G phones only. So, I just put the sim in my drawer and never use it since I don't have an extra 3G phone.

But I learned that due to popular demand Red Mobile have expanded their coverage to include 2G phones. Not only that, for those who still prefer 3G phones, Red Mobile offers new 3G handsets at a very affordable price. Yay, I can now use my Red Mobile sim.

It's a great day

This is not a usual Sunday. I woke up early to do watch the finale of Britain's Got Talent. My bet is Susan Boyle. I really love her voice.

Anyway, while waiting for the announcement of the winner I decided to make a blog post about it. I was doing a live blogging coverage of the show. I didn't realize that Mr. G cached my link and it is on page 1 of google search.

After the winner has been announced, when I checked my blog I have more than 100 online on my blog. Then I checked my stats and it shows I have 4000 plus page views and 3990 unique visits.



Not only that, when I checked my mobile phone, I saw my mom's text (around 1 in the morning) that she won a brand new Mazda BT50.

It looks like this but in color white.



After the mass, I'll go to my mom's house to check it out. This is really unusual day, but it's great.

Mobile Blogging With Sandbox

I'm currently enjoying my trip to CamSur, and most of my friends are expecting for some updates or photos of what am I doing here. Since it's a hassle to bring my laptop every time, I update my online friends through mobile blogging. Thanks to Sandbox.


Sandbox is an online virtual community developed by Smart. You may access Sandbox using a new technology called called HSPA or High-Speed Packet Access which can be accessed through mobile connectivity.

However, if you don't have a phone with HSPA, you can still access Sandbox using your PC or laptop through: www.mysandbox.com

I really like the features of this new social network site. Sandbox offers services like Friendster but with online store. In Sandbox, you can create a profile and update your status for your friends to see. You can upload and view photos and videos, write a blog or join a forum discussion. You can also can send and receive email and open a live chat.

You can also create your own community by using MyGroups. Sandbox also offers services like Facebook but with online store. MyGroups simplifies social networking to something visual, fun, intuitive and feature-filled but straightforward. You can download games and music for you mobile phone at P30.00 per song cheaper than iTunes.

But what I really love about Sandbox is its accessibility using your mobile phone.

2nd day in CamSur

Our second day in CamSur is more exciting. We noticed that we have our banners with our name on it.


Then we join the bikers as they finished the 500-km bike tour. The weather was fine when the last leg was started, however, on our way the rain poured. But it didn't stop the bikers. They said rain or shine they will finish this bike tour. Take note: Ms Tessa Prieto joined the bikers.

Anyway, I'll try to update you with what's happening here in CamSur, but for the meantime, I'll take some rest...

CWC: CamSur

May 27, 2009 --- Our plane left Manila around 6:15 in the morning and we arrived at Naga Airport at 7:00 AM.

This is not my first time in Camarines Sur, however, it's my first time in CamSur Watersports Complex or CWC. This place is awesome. They have a cable park designed for wakeboarding and wakeskating. There's also a place for sakteboarding.

At CWC, you have your choice at staying at the Mansion Suites, Cabanas, Villas, Containers or the Eco Village. We are staying at one of the Villa Del Rey Cabanas.

Of course I didn't let this opportunity to pass, so I grabbed my camera took some photos. I brought an extra compact flash memory card so I can take more pics. Here are some of my pictures today.

My mom's b-day and anniversary is coming up, what should I get her?

She is turning 49 on June 3rd, and still I don't know what to give her. I was thinking of keeping it simple and just giving her flowers, but I think that's getting kinda old style already. I want to give her something special.

Body Clock

I slept around 11:30 in the evening last night. I was very tired and sleepy. I really wished having a complete 8 hour sleep, however, I woke up 4 in the morning. I guess it was my body clock. My body clock is messed up, and I hate it.

I want to change my routine so that I can get to sleep at 11pm, and wake up at 8. How can I force my body clock to comply?

It's 11 in the evening and I'm really tired. I was out the whole day. I went to SM North EDSA for the Sky Garden Press walk around 11 in the morning. The event last up to 4 hours.

Then, my husband, Monch fetch me, however we didn't go home yet. We went shopping. I bought a new Nike backpack. He bought some accessories for his car. After that, we had our early dinner.

Around 6 pm, my feet were very tired. And that was the time we decided to go home. But... but we went to my mom's house first before we went home.

Anyway, I'm really tired. I should go to bed now. I'll finish may pending tasks tomorrow morning.
