We all know that business is a risky but satisfying adventure. But to be a successful in business, you should have the skills, knowledge, determination and ability to handle stress.

Most of the Filipinos dream to have their own business. However, there are many factors or excuses that hinder them to start a business.
1. Money
Many Filipinos do not have a capital to start their own business.
2. Time
Most Filipinos are tied in their office, focused on their jobs to earn money to support their daily needs. Some are too scared to lose regular salary or simply they lack of time management.
3. Skills
Many Filipinos are afraid of risks. They get easily discourage especially when they don't know what they are doing.
4. Opportunity
Many Filipinos think that having their own business is not for them. The odd thing about Filipinos is that they bring up their children to study hard ,so in the future they will get a better job. Unlike Chinese, they mold their children to be the future business owners.
5. Personal Network or Connection
Connection is important in business and most Filipinos don't have that. Filipinos are known to be timid.
Hey, don't get me wrong. I have nothing against Filipinos. I'm a Filipina. These are just some of my observations of Filipinos' lame excuses when it comes to starting their own businesses.
If we still continue to be like this, our economy will not succeed. Just keep in mind, change begins with you... Now, you decide.
